As we come to the final two Facets Night School presentations for this session (Amateur on 35mm, presented by Julian Antos tonight and The Quick and the Dead, presented by Cary Jones Elza next Saturday night), we here at TUGM want to give you the very early heads up for Facets Fright School.
Facets Fright School will begin September 30 and run through all the Friday and Saturday nights of October with midnight horror madness, fun and surprises you’ve learned to love from years past.
The Underground Multiplex will be kicking that session off in high gear with a premiere reception party for the complete saga of Sisters of No Mercy, presented in its entirety on the big screen for the first time ever! Joseph Lewis and I will co-lecture before the unveiling and also will stage a live interactive event featuring a remixed and reedited classic horror-ible movie. I will lecture on the film (yet to be determined) while Joseph will lecture on the nature of remixed film and video and its importance to film artists.
If it’s TUGM, it’s got to be fun so be sure to mark your calendars. It’s gonna be a blast!
