What’s Really Disturbing Here?

There seems to be a strong ADverse reaction to GoDaddy’s “shocking” ad presented during the Super Bowl, but what’s really the main issue here? A model kissing someone who’s supposed to be “underage,” or the fact that all you Super Bowl watchers seem to be okay with the ritual of advertising trotted out every year to trigger your consumer instincts? It only gets worse when pundits feel the need to tweet their concerns about ads without even mentioning that we could buy local, more organic, more green and more humanitarian products. I guess pushing locally-grown organic broccoli through advertising will only make us look like pussies unable to handle the next war.
